Segulah II, L.P. sells CCS, Clean Chemical Sweden AB (“CCS”) to US pharmaceutical company C.B. Fleet. Completion will take place on January 7, 2005.
CCS is a leading supplier of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical body care and eye care products to i.a. the Swedish state owned pharmacies Apoteket and to Boots in the U.K. The company is based in Borlõnge, Sweden. Segulah II L.P. acquired CCS in June 2003 from listed medical research company Medivir.
C.B. Fleet, headquartered in Lynchburg Virginia, is a family owned pharmaceutical company founded in 1869 and active in 82 countries around the world. C.B. Fleet has a substantial part of its business in Europe with subsidiaries in the UK, Spain and Italy.
