Bodum acquires Ordning & Reda

The Danish Group Bodum acquires Ordning & Reda from AB Segulah. Ordning & Reda will be a business area within the Bodum Group and will continue to operate under its own brand. The sales will be carried out by Ordning & Reda’s shops, in shops operated by franchisees and through Bodum’s stores. Ordning & Reda will establish shops-in-shops in Bodum’s stores instead of their present Home-Office Departments.

Ordning & Reda Papper och Design AB is a retail chain that designs and sells high quality stationery, office equipment and bags. AB Segulah became shareholder in the Company in 1996 and sole owner in 2000. Retail sales was 120 MSEK in 2002. The head office is located in Stockholm and there are 40 shops in 12 countries.

Bodum was founded in 1944 in Denmark and is a family owned company runned by J”rgen Bodum, son of the founder Peter Bodum. The head office is located in Switzerland and Group’s sales amount to over 900 MSEK and the number of employees is 500.
